Manuscript Review
Starting at $500
A manuscript review encompasses your entire manuscript and focuses on your manuscript holistically. Rather than going chapter-by-chapter, my feedback focuses on the entire narrative arc to consider elements like worldbuilding, character evolution, and story progression.
A Manuscript Review Offers:
- At least three pages of typed notes.
- Feedback that will include personally tailored guides, worksheets, and online resources intended to support your plans and empower you to move forward.
- Three check-in emails
Developmental Editing
Starting at $1800
If you’re ready to work together to examine the elements of creative writing (setting, plot, character, profluence, and more) to your manuscript from start to finish, developmental editing is right for you.
A Developmental Edit Offers:
- Me the opportunity to dig deeply into the soil of your story when I read your manuscript with an editor’s eye.
- Notes and a 30-minute recorded deep dive of your manuscript, highlighting your strengths as a way forward.
- Access to the Q&A Message Boards
Writer Coaching
Starting at $4000
If you want to meet live on Zoom (or via phone), to achieve your writing goals, writing coaching is for you. It’s also a great fit if you need more support or have a specific goal for your work in mind. After an introductory zoom, we’ll craft a plan for your success that encompasses your individual goals—be it starting the manuscript in your head or getting your stories ready for publication.
As A Writing Coach:
- We’ll meet weekly or bi-weekly according to your needs.
- You’ll have access not only to my expertise at your fingertips through messaging, but also to exclusive message boards and community events.
- You will receive written and recorded feedback that goes beyond developmental editing to encompass not only what’s on the page, but the possibilities beyond it.
- You will leave with an action plan in progress and your goals underway.
- After our sessions are complete, you’ll remain connected to the community you’ve built through intentional activities, events, and support.
