The Write Latch Land Preservation Workshop helps farmers and ranchers use storytelling to examine the past, explore the present, and preserve the future of their land.

This will benefit you if:

• You’re a first-generation agriculturalist who wants to build systems for story preservation from the start.
• You want to leverage area resources like the county archives to validate that old story grandpa told.
• You’re after the tools to save the lessons you’ve learned in past seasons for future generations.
• You hope to be more effective when editing, revising, or re-writing.
• You hope to be more effective in keeping records.

• Explore past, present, and future events in relationship to the land.
• Connect those events to outside records through area resources to corroborate family narratives.
